Most people already know that social networking sites will bring them traffic as long as they stay with it. But not everyone knows that sticking with it takes longer than just a couple weeks or so. When it comes to social networking site you need to make sure that you are always getting a bigger following then you had the previous day.
Facebook for example is a great site for any website to expand its followers. The great thing about Facebook is you can promote your website straight to peoples pockets and all over the world. You need to understand that people check their Facebook account regularly throughout the day and if you can post new things about your site at least 4 times a day they will most likely see your post. Another great social networking site is Twitter. Twitter is a great site because many people use it and use it often. I know of people who use twitter like it is the new text message. If you have at least 1 minute a day to add new twitter messages then you will be sure to attract at least 40 or 50 more viewers to your site every day.
But here is the key to social networking sites. You need to have as many friends and followers as you possibly can. If you can get 500-1000 people on each site following you then you will have a great time with your new found traffic. These sites work and work often, so use them as much as possible.
